Chinese Village



Opened on 22nd may 1999, chinese village took a lot of research in the making and interiors, since the project required the authenticity of a village. Books like “ancient china” and “lifestyles in rural china” formed a backbone in the development of interiors of this themed chinese restaurant.

Materials like bamboos, teak trees, water well, garden benches and tables were all imported from malaysia to give that touch of realism. Besides creating rural china inside the restaurant, the exterior of the restaurant was also designed to create a seating capacity of 20 people amidst a garden and a water drawing well !! this area soon became a landmark for the tourists.




Our head chef, mr. paul wui helped put together his entire team of kitchen staff and created that simply mind boggling, finger lickin’ awesome taste of fine chinese dining which has been the major reason of the thundering success of chinese village. Not forgetting, the food is always accompanied by the impeccable service by our friendly waiting staff who are always on hand to give their suggestions on house specialities as well as dishes off the menu to suit your palate.
